Our Society ACWS (Andhra Cultural & Welfare Society, Regd.) is organising 2-day Mega Event of Musical Concert & Lord Srinivasa Kalyanam on 22nd & 23rd April, 2017 at AP Bhawan & Mavalankar Auditorium in New Delhi respectively.
The Andhra Cultural & Welfare Society, earlier known as Andhra Film Society was started with the primary aim of promoting cinema in general and Telugu films in particular. It is now 30 years old. The Society has been remarkable successful in its ventures and has already enlarged its activities into other fields of social arts.
1977 - In the First Year
The Society organised its first festival, inaugurated by Sh. L.K. Advani, the then Information & Broadcasting Minister, in which award winning and popular classic movies were screened.
